Promotion Terms

These terms apply when a publisher buys promotion on AGMAN. They form part of the Terms of Service. The public explanation on How discovery works describes the same ranking model in simpler language.
1. One global promotion ladder
A promotion payment is added to the active promotion total for the listing you own. Each payment has its own 30-day life. While it remains active, it contributes to one global promotion ladder. Higher active totals rank above lower totals. If totals are equal, the listing that reached that total earlier remains above the later one, subject to the published anti-domination rule for Spotlight.
You do not buy a separate category rank. Relevant category and search visibility is derived from the same global promotion position and the listing's actual category and content.
2. What each global rank can receive
- Ranks 1–3: Spotlight on the homepage.
- Ranks 4–15: Homepage Boosted.
- Rank 16 and below: the promotion remains active and can qualify for relevant Sponsored category and search distribution.
Rank is recalculated as active promotion totals change or expire. A position shown before checkout is therefore an estimate, not a reservation. Another listing can move above you before or after your payment is confirmed.
3. Category and search distribution
Sponsored distribution is relevance-limited. A promoted listing may appear in its relevant category or beside a relevant search, but payment does not make an unrelated listing eligible.
On homepage category sections, Sponsored listings are considered first, then remaining Pulse activity, then organic or newly published listings. Categories with active promotion are considered by their strongest global promotion rank before categories driven only by Pulse activity. Every Sponsored unit is labelled, and the organic ranking itself is not rewritten by payment.
4. Homepage deduplication
A listing normally receives one primary homepage appearance at the highest-priority surface it qualifies for. For example, a listing already shown in Spotlight or Homepage Boosted is not repeated in Trending or a category block merely to occupy another position. This presentation rule does not remove its underlying Pulse, support, promotion or organic data.
5. Pulses and Trending
Community Pulses and purchased Pulses are daily activity signals. They reset at 00:00 UTC. The homepage displays at most 20 Trending listings at a time; listings outside that displayed top 20 may still contribute to category activity and appear in relevant category sections. If purchased Pulses contribute to a visible Trending or category placement, that appearance is disclosed as Promoted.
6. No guaranteed outcome
- No payment guarantees a fixed rank for 30 days; other active totals can move above yours.
- No payment guarantees a particular number of impressions, clicks, inquiries, leads, sales or off-platform features.
- Contextual Sponsored eligibility does not guarantee that the listing appears on every page view or for every query.
- Promotion does not exempt a listing from AGMAN's listing, ownership, safety or moderation rules.
7. Payment duration and top-ups
Each promotion payment starts when confirmed and counts for 30 days. Adding more creates another 30-day amount; it does not extend the expiry of an older amount. When an amount expires or is refunded, it stops contributing to the active total and the ladder is recalculated.
8. Eligibility and removal
Only an approved, claimed, real listing owned by the buyer can be promoted. Example/demo listings cannot buy promotion. If a listing is removed or suspended for breaking the Listing Guidelines, its promotion can stop. Refund treatment is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
9. Payments
Dodo Payments processes eligible purchases as merchant of record/reseller, collects the applicable transaction taxes and issues the payment invoice. AGMAN does not receive or store your full card details.
