AGMAN is a discovery network for products, professionals, creators, services and communities. People arrive with a need. Publishers arrive to be found. For both sides to trust the network, one rule has to hold: paid placement must never be mistaken for earned standing.
So visibility on AGMAN runs on two separate tracks. Earned visibility comes from what your profile says and how people respond to it. Paid visibility comes from promotion you choose to buy. Both are live today. This first edition of AGMAN Dispatch explains how each track works, what it costs, and how to use them together.
At a glance
- Earned: organic discovery, Find by Need, Community Pulses, Trending and Support. Free, and Support cannot be bought.
- Paid: one global promotion ladder. Ranks 1–3 appear in Spotlight, ranks 4–15 in Homepage Boosted, and rank 16 and below qualify for relevant Sponsored category and search placement. Entry starts at $5 and each payment counts for 30 days.
- Purchased Pulses: 10 Pulses per US$1, minimum $5 (50 Pulses), valid for the current day only, and disclosed as Promoted.
- Every paid unit is labelled. Payment never rewrites the organic order.
1. Two tracks, one rule
Most directories mix paid and organic results until nobody can tell them apart. That hurts everyone. Visitors stop trusting what they see, and good listings without a budget disappear.
AGMAN keeps the line visible. Organic results follow the same rules for every listing. Paid placements sit in their own clearly labelled surfaces. You can use one track, the other, or both, and you always know which one produced a result.
2. Earned visibility
Organic discovery and Find by Need
Search and browse read what each public profile says about itself: name, description, category, Topics, audience and capabilities. That is what decides relevance. A search for a listing's exact name gives it top priority, and real published profiles always rank ahead of example listings.
Find by Need lets people describe what they are trying to do instead of picking a category. AGMAN compares the request with every public profile and shows the strongest matches along with the reasons they fit. A request such as "a tool for retail forex traders" can match a product whose audience includes retail traders and whose Topics relate to forex.
What this means for you: a complete, specific profile is your most important visibility asset. It costs nothing and it works on every search.
Community Pulses and Trending

A Pulse is a lightweight signal that a listing matters today. Each visitor can Pulse a listing once a day, with abuse controls in place. Trending today ranks listings by the Pulses they receive during the current UTC day, and the counts reset at midnight UTC.
The homepage shows up to 20 Trending listings. Activity beyond that is not discarded; it can still surface your listing inside its relevant category section.
Use your Pulse link. Every listing profile has a Share Pulse link. Share it with your community, customers and followers on the days that matter: a launch, a new release, an event or a post that is doing well. Each person who opens it can send one Pulse that day, free. This is earned visibility you can actively build, and it costs nothing.
Support

Support is a lasting endorsement from a verified AGMAN account, one per account. It is separate from Trending and it cannot be bought. Inside a category section, the remaining organic positions are ordered by Support count first, then by the normal discovery signals.
Use your Support link. Next to the Support button is a Share Support link. Send it to the people who already know your work: customers, clients, members, colleagues and your social following. Every Support they give stays on your profile and strengthens your organic position in your category. Unlike paid placement, it never expires.
| Pulse | Support | |
|---|---|---|
| Measures | Momentum today | Lasting endorsement |
| Who can give it | Any visitor, once a day | Verified AGMAN accounts, once each |
| Lasts | Until midnight UTC | Permanently |
| Can it be bought? | Yes, as disclosed Purchased Pulses | No |
3. Paid visibility

One global promotion ladder
Every promotion payment adds to the active promotion total of a listing you own. Higher active totals rank higher. When two totals are equal, the listing that reached that total first stays ahead. There is no separate category purchase: category and search visibility are derived from the same global position and from what your listing is actually about.
Your rank decides where the promotion appears:
- Spotlight, ranks 1–3. The premium position at the front of the homepage. An anti-domination rule stops a single owner from taking over Spotlight.
- Homepage Boosted, ranks 4–15. A wider distribution field across the homepage, with a direct path to each publisher profile.
- Sponsored placement, rank 16 and below. The promotion stays active and can appear in relevant category sections and beside relevant searches. Payment never makes an unrelated listing eligible.

The 30-day clock

Each payment has its own 30-day life, and it counts at its full amount for all 30 days. There is no daily wear-down and no pro-rata. On the day it expires, it stops counting completely.
Your ranking total is simply the sum of your payments that are still active. Here is one listing that pays $50 on day 1 and adds $20 on day 20:
| Days | Payments still active | Ranking total | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 to 19 | $50 (expires day 31) | $50 | The listing is ranked on $50 |
| Day 20 to 30 | $50 + $20 (expires day 50) | $70 | Rank is recalculated on $70 the moment the $20 is confirmed |
| Day 31 to 49 | $20 | $20 | The $50 expires; rank is recalculated on $20 |
| Day 50 onward | None | $0 | The listing leaves the paid ladder and keeps its organic visibility |
In short: from day 20 the listing competes as a $70 listing for the 10 days the first payment has left, then drops to its $20 position until day 50. The $20 does not extend the older $50, and the $50 does not shrink day by day.
Two things to keep in mind. First, rank is relative. Your position can change on any day when another listing pays, tops up or expires, even if your own total stays the same. Second, to keep a position, top up before your larger payment expires rather than after.
Entry to the ladder starts at $5. The Promote page shows live what it takes to reach each position and where you would land before you pay. That position is an estimate, not a reservation; other listings can move above you before or after your payment is confirmed.

Purchased Pulses

Owners can add Pulses for the day at 10 Pulses per US$1, with a $5 minimum (50 Pulses). Purchased Pulses count toward the same daily activity used by Trending and category discovery, and they reset at midnight UTC with everything else. If purchased Pulses contribute to a visible placement, that appearance is marked Promoted.
Use them for a single moment that matters: a launch day, a live event or a limited-time offer.
4. Every signal, side by side
| Signal | Track | Driven by | Cost | Lasts | Where it shows | Label |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Organic relevance | Earned | Your profile content | Free | Always on | Search, browse, Find by Need | None |
| Community Pulse | Earned | Visitors, one per day | Free | Current UTC day | Trending, category sections | None |
| Support | Earned | Verified accounts, one each | Cannot be bought | Lasting | Organic order in categories | None |
| Spotlight | Paid | Ladder ranks 1–3 | From $5 | 30 days per payment | Homepage Spotlight | Sponsored |
| Homepage Boosted | Paid | Ladder ranks 4–15 | From $5 | 30 days per payment | Homepage Boosted | Boosted |
| Sponsored placement | Paid | Ladder rank 16+ | From $5 | 30 days per payment | Relevant categories and search | Sponsored |
| Purchased Pulses | Paid | Listing owner | 10 per $1, min $5 | Current UTC day | Trending, category sections | Promoted |
On the homepage, a listing normally appears once, at the highest surface it qualifies for. A Spotlight listing is not repeated in Trending or a category block just to take more space. That keeps the homepage varied and protects the value of the higher placement.
5. How this helps every kind of listing
- Products and SaaS. Build steady relevance through a complete profile and Support from real users. Use Spotlight or Boosted around a launch or a major release, and Purchased Pulses on launch day itself.
- Professionals and freelancers. Your Topics, audience and capabilities decide which needs you match in Find by Need. Post an "Available now" Update when you have capacity, and ask past clients for Support.
- Creators. Share your Pulse link with your audience on the day you publish something new. Trending turns that attention into discovery by people who do not follow you yet.
- Agencies and service providers. Sponsored category placement puts you in front of people already browsing your category. Pair it with an Offer Update so visitors have a reason to act.
- Communities. Support from members signals lasting trust and lifts you within your category's organic order. Announce events through Updates.
6. What this means for people discovering on AGMAN
- You can always tell what is paid. Spotlight and Sponsored units carry a Sponsored label, and Purchased Pulses that affect a visible placement are marked Promoted.
- Organic search and category order are never rewritten by payment.
- Example listings are clearly labelled and never compete with real listings.
- Each listing appears once on the homepage, so you see more distinct options.
7. A practical playbook
- Complete your profile. Category, Topics, audience and capabilities drive every organic match.
- Claim your listing. Only approved, claimed, real listings can use promotion or buy Pulses.
- Post an Update. Share an offer, an announcement, your availability or an event. Updates appear on the public Updates feed and on your profile, and travel with your listing into Spotlight.
- Share your Pulse and Support links. Ask your audience for a Pulse on the days that matter and for Support from people who have used your work.
- Add Purchased Pulses for a single moment, such as a launch or event day.
- Use promotion for sustained reach. Enter the ladder from $5, watch your position on the Promote page, and top up when you want to climb. Each payment runs for 30 days.
Earned first, paid to amplify. Promotion works best on a listing that already explains itself well.
8. What promotion does not do
- It does not guarantee a fixed rank for 30 days. Other active totals can move above yours.
- It does not guarantee impressions, clicks, inquiries, leads or sales.
- It does not make an unrelated listing eligible for a category or search.
- It does not exempt a listing from AGMAN's listing, ownership, safety or moderation rules.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, which also issues the invoice. AGMAN does not receive or store your full card details. The full rules are in the Promotion Terms.
